This week's field trip focuses on birds in an urban park.
Begin this week's posting by describing the location of your urban park observations and the habitats where you saw birds. Be sure to include the time of day and a brief description of the weather.
List the birds that you saw and describe any interesting or unusual behaviors that you observed.
Also include a description of one bird's topography with particular emphasis on the head. Review the terminology used to describe details of the plumage on the head in Manual of Ornithology: pages 62 - 65.
